Leveling Wings-Rigid Horizontal Fold and Low Transport Attachment Models
IMPORTANT:
Check that tires are inflated to correct pressure before leveling wings. Perform following procedure on a level surface.
PRELIMINARY LEVELING:
1.
Lower wings completely.
2.
See that wings are level with center frame and that all four pairs of adjusting bolts (A) (inside hinges) are contacting each other with wings fully lowered.
3.
If adjustment is necessary, raise wings completely, loosen securing nuts (B), adjust bolts, then tighten securing nuts.
4.
Repeat previous steps until adjustment is complete.
5.
Adjust fold linkage, if necessary. (See ADJUSTING FOLDING CYLINDER LINKAGE AND WING STOP-HORIZONTAL FOLD AND LOW TRANSPORT ATTACHMENT MODELS in this section.)
FINAL LEVELING:
IMPORTANT:
For best results, perform final leveling in field under normal operating conditions at desired depth and normal speed.
Observe machine from rear. Adjust wings to provide a level profile (end-to-end) as machine moves away.
