Prepare to Troubleshoot TOUCHSET Depth Control System-John Deere 8000/9000 Series Tractors

1. Open transport lock-up valve (A).

2. Check hose connections to tractor. Main frame depth control cylinder base end hose should be in SCV I left-hand port. This is same hose that runs to transport lock-up valve.

3. Start tractor and check for letter P on console display (A) for SCV I.

4. Pull SCV I lever (A) back to raise machine. Push SCV I lever forward to lower machine.

5. TOUCHSET Depth Control System should now be operational, using SCV I lever. (If machine does not raise and lower properly, see TROUBLESHOOTING TOUCHSET DEPTH CONTROL SYSTEM.)
