Checking Wheel Bolts and Bearings

Check tightness of wheel bolts (A) and wheel pivot bearings during first operation week and periodically thereafter.

Tighten wheel bolts to specification.

Specification

Wheel Bolts -Torque 176 N·m (130 lb-ft)

To adjust wheel bearing, remove hub cap and cotter pin. Raise and turn wheel. Tighten nut until there is a slight drag on bearing, back off nut to first hole, and insert cotter pin. Replace hub cap.
