Checking Wheel Bolts and Bearings

Check tightness of all wheel bolts (A) and wheel pivot bearings during first operation week and periodically thereafter.

Tighten all wheel bolts to specification.

Specification

Wheel Bolts -Torque 176 N·m (130 lb-ft)

To adjust wheel bearing, remove center hub cap and cotter pin. Raise and turn wheel. Tighten nut until there is a slight drag on bearings, back off to first hole, and insert cotter pin. Replace hub cap.
