Setting Cleaner Grid Bar Spacing

CAUTION: Entanglement in grid bar can cause serious injury or death to you or others. Disengage cleaner drive, shut off engine, and remove key BEFORE accessing cleaner.

Saw blades are extremely sharp and can cause serious injury or death to you or others. Wear leather gloves when servicing cleaner.

Set upper grid bars on upper saw at 16 mm (5/8 in.).

Set lower grid bars on upper saw at 13 mm (1/2 in.).

Set upper and lower grid bars on lower saw at 13 mm (1/2 in.).

Closer grid bars are to saws, more trash is removed, there is also more cotton loss. Farther away, less trash is removed, cotton loss decreases.

If necessary, adjust as follows:

2. Place two special tools (C), one each end of grid bars, set to dimension. Tighten hardware and remove tools.
