Clean Primary Element

IMPORTANT: Always replace secondary (smaller) filter element. Do not attempt to clean element. Secondary element located inside primary elements should be replaced every second primary element change.

If loss of power or restrictor light comes on and a replacement primary filter is not immediately available, the primary filter may be cleaned using the following procedure.

Hold filter element with opening down and tap or rub gently to remove excess dirt and debris. Be sure not to puncture or otherwise damage element. Replace element as soon as possible.
