Winterize Cooling System

IMPORTANT: Do not drain cooling system to protect against freezing. Heater does not drain completely, so damage would result.

IMPORTANT: Stop-leak additives can plug radiator, causing overheating and engine damage. Do not use coolants that contain a stop-leak additive.

1. Prior to cold weather, be sure cooling system has sufficient coolant. Use only specified coolant. (See Lubrication and Maintenance section for coolant specifications and Specifications section for system refill capacity.)

2. After adding coolant, turn heater knob (A) ON and operate engine until it reaches operating temperature. This mixes solution uniformly and circulates it through entire system.
