Operating ROW-TRAK™

NOTE: If error codes are generated, see ROW-TRAK ™ Circuit Diagnostic Codes in this section.

2. Align machine with row and begin to harvest. Engage ROW-TRAK ™ by pushing auto engage button (A) on hydro lever. When going into auto mode, alarm will sound once. When leaving auto mode, alarm will sound twice. Engine must be at full engine speed. Ground speed must be below 11 kph (7 mph). Release steering.

3. During operation of ROW-TRAK ™ , tracking can be adjusted using the "Offset" knob (C). Use of "Offset" knob will vary depending on whether adjusting the system for straight rows or curved rows.

To adjust "Offset" knob;

STRAIGHT ROWS (A): Adjust "Offset" knob (B) to center machine on row. This will require minimal adjustment.

NOTE: If "Offset" knob has been fully adjusted to either extreme, and machine is still not centered on row, center knob and perform a Field Learn. (To perform Field Learn, see Field ROW-TRAK ™ Learn in this section.)

CURVED ROWS (C): "Offset" knob will need to be adjusted to match curve of rows. Adjustment is made while stripping. If rows curve to right, turn "Offset" knob right (clockwise) (D) until machine tracks curve of rows. After turning machine at end of row, align machine with row, then turn "Offset" knob to left (counterclockwise) (E) until machine tracks curve of rows.

NOTE: If "Offset" knob has been fully adjusted to either extreme, and machine is still not tracking curve rows perform a Static Learn. (To perform Static Learn, see Static ROW-TRAK ™ Learn in this section.)

If straight rows are available, it is preferable to perform a Field Learn on straight rows.

CONTOURED ROWS (F): For contoured rows adjust "Offset" knob clockwise (right) and/or counterclockwise (left) to track with row.

4. To disengage ROW-TRAK ™ , slightly turn steering wheel, push auto engage button, turn off ROW-TRAK ™ switch OR turn off units.

NOTE: ROW-TRAK ™ switch must be turned "On" to engage ROW-TRAK ™ .

5. To engage ROW-TRAK ™ again, push auto engage button on hydro lever.

Operator presence system will sound an audible alarm if operator leaves the seat for more than 2 seconds, providing time for operator to sit down. System will shut down if operator does not sit down after 4 seconds. If ROW-TRAK ™ system is shut off in this manner, ROW-TRAK ™ light on corner post monitor will flash. Engage system by pushing auto engage button on hydro lever.
