Operate Safely
Before operating your cotton harvester in the field, verify the machine is properly prepared. Verify the following items before operating.

Operator is familiar with all machine controls, their functions, and safe operations. (See safety and Operators Station sections.)

All maintenance has been performed. (See Lubrication And Maintenance section.)

Row units have been adjusted to the correct row width. (See Row Units section.)

All safety systems are operating properly. (See Safety and Operators Presence System sections.)

Fire extinguishers are located correctly on the machine, properly charged and the operator is properly trained on using them. (See Fire Extinguishers in the Safety Section.)
