Seat Belts

IMPORTANT: Inspect operator and instructional seat belt mounting hardware on your machine at least once a year. If either seat belt system shows signs of cuts, fraying, extreme or unusual wear, discoloration, abrasion, or damage to the buckle or retractor the seat belt should be replaced immediately. For your safety, replace the belt system with only replacement parts approved for your machine. (See your John Deere dealer).

Seat belts are standard equipment on both the operator and instructional seats. The lap type seat belts have push button quick release and automatic belt retraction to allow unrestricted exiting and entering of the seats.

Pull seat belt (A) across lap and attach to latch (B). Push button (C) to release belt.
