Driving Machine

causym CAUTION: Machine is heavy. If machine should move suddenly forward or backward, serious injury or death can result to you or others. Be sure that all people and objects are safely away from machine before driving.

1. Set brake latch in desired position (field or transport). (See Travel Brake Pedals in Operators Station section).

2. Release parking brake. (See Parking Brake Pedals in Operators Station section).

3. Position transmission shift lever (A) in desired gear (see chart). If transmission does not readily go in gear, move hydro lever (B) slightly to align gears.

NOTE: To ensure full output from air system, operate engine at maximum rpm when stripping cotton.

4. Increase engine rpm as desired using throttle switch (A).

  • Idle throttle position -900-960 rpm
  • Maximum throttle position -2400 rpm

5. Move hydro lever forward for forward travel or rearward for reverse travel.
