Programming Tachometer

NOTE: Tachometer is programmed at factory and should normally need to be programmed only if tire size changes.

1. Turn key switch OFF.

2. Press ground speed switch (A) and cleaner saw drum RPM switch (B) simultaneously.

3. While pressing on switches, turn key switch ON.

4. Set tachometer display value to "006" for English measurements or "026" for metric measurements. This can be accomplished by either pressing ground speed switch (A) to raise displayed value; or pressing engine RPM switch (D) to lower value.

5. Press switches (C) and (B) simultaneously to store this value in tachometer's memory.

6. Return tachometer display value to "005" using ground speed (A) or engine rpm (B) switches.

7. Press switches (C) and (D) simultaneously to store this value in tachometer's memory.

8. Program tire size into tachometer using ground speed (A) and engine rpm (B) switches. Program in a value of "33.5" for English or "850" for metric display.

9. Press switches (C) and (D) simultaneously to store this value.

10. Program engine pulse reading into tachometer. Press on either ground speed (A) or engine rpm (B) switches until a value of "030" is shown.

11. Press switch (C) and (D) simultaneously to store this value.

12. Turn key switch off.

Tachometer is now programmed.
