Prepare to Troubleshoot TOUCHSET Depth Control System-John Deere 8000/9000 and 8020/9020 Series Tractors

1. Open transport lock-up valve (A).

2. Check hose attachments to tractor. Hose from base end of main frame depth control cylinder should be in "lift" port of SCV I. This same hose also runs to transport lock-up valve.

3. Make sure all hoses and wiring harnesses are connected.

4. Start tractor and check for letter "P" in SCV I display of console (A).

5. Pull SCV I control (A) back and machine should raise. Push SCV I control forward and machine should lower.

6. TOUCHSET Depth Control system should now be operational (using SCV I control). If machine does not raise and lower properly refer to TROUBLESHOOTING TOUCHSET DEPTH CONTROL SYSTEMS in this section.
