Using Warning Lights and SMV

CAUTION: When transporting machine on a road or highway at night or during day, use accessory lights and devices for adequate warning to operators of other vehicles. Check local governmental regulations. Various safety devices are available from your John Deere dealer. Keep safety items in good condition. Replace missing or damaged items.

For maximum machine visibility, be sure amber warning lights, red tail lights, reflectors and SMV sign are clean.

A lighting enhancement module (A) is incorporated into lighting circuit. This module causes red tail lights to function as turn signals. During normal transport, both amber warning lights will flash in unison at high intensity and both red lamps will illuminate steady at low intensity.

When a turn is signaled, red tail lamp in direction of turn will flash at high intensity and in unison with amber lamp in direction of turn. Opposite side amber and red lamps will illuminate steady at high intensity.
