Pulling Cotton Picker Out of the Mud (Towing)

CAUTION: ALWAYS use a suitable chain. DO NOT exceed the breaking strength. DO NOT mix chain with tow straps or ropes. Energy stored in the towing device can cause serious bodily injury if it should break.

2. Shift transmission lever (A) and hydro lever (B) to neutral.

IMPORTANT: Damage to picking units can occur from contact to ground. Raise units all the way up before pulling machine.

3. Raise units and attach safety stops over unit lift cylinder rods.

4. Retain chains to both attaching points (C) at rear of machine. Always pull picker straight out. NEVER pull on attaching points at a sideways angle. Use a steady pull on chains. DO NOT jerk.
