Adjusting Grid Bars

Adjust grid bars so spindles do not strike bars when entering the row and cotton is not removed when spindles are leaving the row. Adjust front end of both front and rear drum grid bars to center bars between spindles where spindles leave the row.

To adjust front end of grid bars, loosen four attaching cap screws (A) and slide bolting strip with grid bars up or down. Retighten attaching cap screws.
