Jacking Up Front Axle
CAUTION:
Machine is heavy and can fall or roll causing serious injury or death to you or others. Use a jack with a minimum jacking capability of 13 t (15 tons). Machine must be on a flat, level surface with transmission lever in neutral, parking brake engaged and key removed.
IMPORTANT:
Machine damage can occur. Jack up front axle only at designated jacking locations.
1.
Position machine on a flat, level surface.
2.
Position jack on a solid, flat surface beneath jacking plate (A).
CAUTION:
Machine is heavy and can fall or roll causing serious injury or death to you or others. Clear all bystanders away from machine before jacking up machine.
3.
Clear all bystanders away from machine, then using jack, raise front axle only enough to change/repair tire.
4.
Change/repair tire. Tighten drive tire wheel bolts to specification.
