Symptom Problem Solution

Lights or chimes do not function properly.

Empty lubrication reservoir.

Fill reservoir.

Vent cap plugged on reservoir tank.

Clean.

Lubrication pump belt loose or broken.

Adjust belt tension.

Electric clutch not engaging.

Check wiring from switch to pump. See your John Deere dealer.

Bulbs burned out.

Replace.

Improper electrical connections.

Check and repair.

Pump not rotating.

See your John Deere dealer.

Leak on suction lines.

Tighten fittings.

Remote fill connector stuck open.

Repair and/or replace.

Manually operated and pressure switches malfunction.

Replace.

Filter plugged.

Replace.

Improper grease viscosity and/or cold weather.

Use recommended lubricant.

Relief valve stuck open or broken.

Crimped, damaged or broken hoses.

Wires worn and shorted out against unit.

Repair wires.

Pressure switch defective.

Lubrication transfer pump not operating.

Lines reversed.

Reverse lines.

Use recommended lubricant.

Bad connection between the pumps.

Repair or replace connections.

Internal pump or motor damage.

Crimped or damaged hoses.

Repair or replace hoses.
