NOTE: The use of John Deere Spindle Cleaner is recommended over wetting agents due to superior performance, especially under adverse conditions. Use of John Deere Spindle Cleaner results in the following:

  • Reduced moistener solution usage

  • Drier doors and associated picking parts

  • Less mud build up

  • Less cleaning of picking units

  • More productivity due to less time filling tank

  • Elimination of green stain/sticky spindles

  • Less moistener system maintenance (adjustment and replacement of pads)

  • More efficient doffing

This cotton picker is equipped with number 3 nozzles for use with spindle cleaner. Spindle cleaner allows longer intervals between tank refills.

Recommended solution ratio for average conditions is 15.6L (4-1/8 gal) per full 1041L (275 gal) tank of water.
