Adjusting Picking Unit Tilt

causym CAUTION: Units are heavy. If a unit moves unexpectedly, or if you or others become entangled in moving parts of a unit, serious injury or death can result. Shut off engine and remove key before approaching units.

Adjust each turnbuckle (A) so front drum operates 19 mm (3/4 in.) lower than rear drum in actual field conditions. This will allow spindles to contact more cotton and maximize trash flow out of unit bottom.

Initial pin-to-pin dimension (B) must be 584 mm (23 in.).

Initial Pin-To-Pin -Dimension 584 mm (23 in.)

NOTE: Make sure both lift frames are adjusted equally.

Final tilt adjustment should be made in row as pin-to-pin dimension can vary according to bed height.
