Filling Lubrication Reservoir

1. Shut off engine.

2. Place inlet tube of transfer pump in a drum of John Deere Spindle Lubricant. Attach outlet hose to fill port.

3. If the machine is equipped with the power drive outlet attachment, attach hydraulic lines to ISO couplers with check valve line on right-hand side.

4. Start engine and operate at 1000 rpm.

5. Bleed system for initial filling or if the reservoir has been pumped dry.

6. Open air purge valve while filling until grease begins to flow from the valve to bleed air from system. Close air purge valve.

7. Continue pumping until reservoir is full.

8. Shut off engine.

9. Disconnect hydraulic couplers and fill line.
