Manual Lubrication Procedure

Use this manual procedure ONLY if the Onboard Lube System fails.

causym CAUTION: If you or others become entangled in unit moving parts, serious injury or death can result. ALWAYS maintain a safe distance from units and be careful of moving parts.

1. Lubricate picker bars, sun gear housing bearings, and upper gear train at grease fitting on grease manifold (A), while slowly rotating units.

2. Fresh grease should be present at two of the top six spindles at the dust collars. Verify every bar of every unit is greased properly.

3. Check for fresh grease in upper drive gear area and in cam tracks of all drums.

4. Repeat lubrication for each unit.
