Checking Tires
IMPORTANT:
Maintain correct tire pressure to prevent damage to the tire.
Visually inspect all tires. Consider replacing the tire if the following conditions exist:
-
Worn tread
-
Unusual or spotty tread wear
-
Isolated bulges or bubbles in tread or sidewall
-
Deep cracks or cuts in tread or sidewall that extend to the cord body
-
If the tire repeatedly loses more that 20% of its rated pressure without explanation, and repair does not eliminate repeated pressure loss
NOTE:
Tires exposed to sunlight, ozone, or electrical discharge will eventually develop cracks or checking. If these cracks extend to the cord body, the tire should be replaced.
Check tires daily for damage or noticeably low pressure.
At least every 100 hours of operation, check tire pressure.
Protect tires from exposure to sunlight, petroleum products and chemicals.
Drive carefully. Try to avoid rocks and sharp objects.
IMPORTANT:
Tighten wheel bolts to specification every ten hours until torque stabilizes.
