Use recommended size tractor. See Specifications section.

Operate at a ground speed of 6-10 km/h (4-6 mph).
3.
Raise machine out of ground when making sharp turns.
4.
Raise machine out of ground before backing up.
5.
Level machine before seeding.

Adjust openers individually to equalize seeding depth.

Turn feed shaft before adding seed if machine has been standing for a long period of time. If treated seed is used, turn shaft whenever machine has been standing for and hour or longer.
8.
Handle and apply chemically treated seeds according to manufacturer's recommendations.
9.
Check tire pressure before seeding.
10.
Check seed rates.
11.
Adjust press wheel spacings to provide adequate seed bed firming.
