Checking Double-Disk Blade Wear
Disengage inside scrapers. Check by holding one blade stationary and rotating the other one. Blades must have slight contact at point (A) and turn freely.
Most new openers need two or three shims (B) on each disk hub bolt (C) while worn blades may require less.
