Adjusting Depth on TRU-VEE™ Opener Attachment

NOTE: TRU-VEE TRU-VEE ™ offers the most precise depth control in loose, well-prepared seedbeds.

Adjust as follows:

IMPORTANT: Down-pressure rod (A) must be installed in front attaching hole with cotter pin (B) for long drawbars. For short drawbars, pressure rod must be installed in rear attaching hole (C) with drilled pin.

NOTE: Moving arm one position forward or rearward will affect drilling depth by approximately 8 mm (5/16 in.). Maximum depth obtainable is 76 mm (3 in.). Some soil conditions may prevent openers from achieving this depth.

1. To decrease drilling depth, move depth adjusting arm (D) forward and pin into position.

To increase drilling depth, move depth adjusting arm rearward and pin into position.

2. After changing depth, readjust spring tines by loosening cap screw (E) on attaching clips. Slide tines up or down and tighten cap screw.
