Cleaning and Setting Feed Cups

1. Clean cups by moving latch (A) downward off its retaining teeth. This opens feed gate (B) as wide as possible.

2. Set feed gate latch (A) in one of the following positions:

C-Wheat, oats barley, rye, flax, rice and similar seeds.

D-Small peas, common beans, soybeans [above 5500 seeds per kg (above 2500 seeds per pound)], and corn

E-Large peas, soybeans [below 5500 seeds per kg (below 2500 seeds per pound)], kidney beans, and lima beans

3. Set all feed cups identically. Improper setting will cause uneven drilling, wrong quantities being drilled and crushing of seed.
