Adjusting Marker Arms for Folding Row Marker Attachments

causym CAUTION: Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin causing serious injury. Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines. Tighten all connections before applying pressure. Search for leaks with a piece of cardboard. Protect hands and body from high pressure fluids.

1. Raise and lower markers to charge system and release air from lines. While raising and lowering markers, check for leaks. Make certain that no hoses interfere with linkage.

2. After markers have been raised and lowered several times and operated in the field a short distance, adjust cable ties (A) so there is 51 mm (2 in.) of slack in cable. If cable is adjusted properly, inner marker arm (B) will be horizontal as blade touches ground.
