Folding Machine

causym CAUTION: When folding row markers, be aware of overhead wires and KNOW the transport height of your machine. If markers come in contact with wires, serious injury or death could result to you or to others.

IMPORTANT: To avoid machine damage while folding, perform the following:

Fold machine in level area.

Put tractor in PARK.

DO NOT drive forward or backward.

Raise openers.

Fold row markers if equipped.

1. Fold row marker(s) (if equipped) (A).

2. Raise openers.

causym CAUTION: Jackstand is heavy and needs to be properly supported when raising, lowering or storing.

3. Raise front jack stand (A) and store the two rear stands (B) if not already in storage.

NOTE:

7. 6 m (25 ft) machine has one rear stand.

On machines with two parking stands the right-hand stand must be stored on the left-side of the right-hand center wheel support assembly (because of interference with drive shaft and acre meter). Take notice of the angle of the foot on the stands to determine right and left stands.

    IMPORTANT: 7.6 m (25 ft) two unit machine must be lifted completely before folding or damage can result to swing arms and cylinders.

  • 7.6 m (25 ft) ONLY-Lift machine completely before folding.
  • 9.1 m (30 ft)-Fold machine before lifting.
  • 10.7 m (35 ft)-Fold machine before lifting.
