Installing Press Wheels

NOTE: The 2 x 13 press wheels are included in base equipment. Four other options are available from your John Deere dealer.

1. Raise boxes completely. Fold boxes until they are latched.

2. (Single and Dual Press Wheel) Remove press wheel arm (B) to opener with pin (A) and secure with cotter pin. The pin must pass through eyebolt (C) of adjusting handle (D).

NOTE: Press punch against nut (F) in handle when inserting pivot pin (A).

3. Install single press wheel axle into arm (A) and tighten set screw (B) and jam nuts (C).

4. (Dual Press Wheels) Install press wheel axles into arm. Tighten set screws (A) and jam nuts (B).

5. Repeat above steps for all openers.
