Check Engine Oil Level

IMPORTANT: Verify engine oil dipstick is screwed completely into housing before removing to check oil level.

DO NOT operate engine when oil level is below the add mark on engine oil dipstick (A). Add oil if necessary. (See Diesel Engine Oil in the Fuels, Lubricants And Coolants section for proper oil specifications). (See Diesel Engine Break-In Oil in the Fuels, Lubricants And Coolants section if the engine is still within first 100 hours of service).
