Tether Control Switch
Be sure park brake switch is engaged. The unexpected movement of the machine or rotation of units can cause serious injury or death to you or others. If the inspection bypass system does not operate exactly as described below, see your John Deere dealer. NOTE: Transmission must be in neutral, park brake switch engaged and hydro lever must be moved sightly ahead of neutral position into decal (A) range as shown for tether system to activate. (See Onboard Lubrication System section for details). Press top of tether control switch (B) to transfer control of engaging and disengaging the row units to tether switch located in the number 2 or number 3 row unit. Press bottom of switch and place hydro handle in neutral to return control of row units to console switches.

Serious injury or death can result if you or others become entangled or are drawn into moving parts of unit. Keep away from all moving parts to prevent injury and death. Always keep inspection bypass cord away from moving parts on row units.
