Every 2000 Hours

1. Remove plug (A) and drain final drive oil. Install plug. Remove fill plug (B). Fill final drive to within 6 mm (1/4 in.) of bottom of fill hole. Install fill plug. (See Transmission And Final Drive Lubricant in Fuels, Lubricants And Coolants section for proper oil specifications). (See Specifications section for refill capacity).

2. Check engine valve tappet clearance. (See your John Deere dealer).
