Adjusting Solution Pump Belt

IMPORTANT: To avoid bearing damage, DO NOT overtighten solution drive belt. Use hand pressure only to increase tension on belt. When tightened properly, belt should be easily deflected with thumb and forefinger.

2. Use hand pressure on pump to adjust belt (B) tension. Tighten hardware.

3. Align solution drive belt with sheaves by loosening pump mounting cap screws (C) and moving pump, or by loosening pump sheave set screw (D) and moving sheave.

IMPORTANT: Pump damage can occur. DO NOT let pump run without solution in system. Always remove belt for dry picking.
