Using Moistener Flush System

To ensure lowest solution usage when spindle buildup is observed, activate moistener flush system to clean spindles in the following order:

NOTE: Some conditions (green sappy plants) will require more frequent flushing.

DO NOT operate flush system in row while picking or plugging may result.

2. Depress moistener system flush switch (A) on cab floor:

a. At each basket unload for 10-15 seconds (normal conditions).

b. At one end of field for 4-5 seconds (tough staining conditions).

c. At both ends of field for 4-5 seconds (extreme staining conditions).

3. When flushing at a turn row, depress foot pedal as row units are just starting to raise. Release pedal halfway through turn (approximately 4-5 seconds). This allows excess solution to be removed before re-entering the row.
