Check Front-to-Rear Leveling Adjustment
CAUTION:
Serious injury or death to you or others can result from contact with electric lines. Use care when raising wings near electric lines to avoid contact.
NOTE:
Machine may need to be re-leveled when using a tractor with a different drawbar height.
Machine must be level, front-to-rear, when transporting. If machine is not level, unfold wings and follow procedure below.
1.
Raise machine to transport position. Be certain pivot link (A) is resting against pivot link stop (B).
2.
If pivot link is not against stop (as shown), turn leveling crank (D) or hydraulic leveling motor clockwise. Raise machine to check if pivot link is against stop. Repeat procedure until link is against stop.
3.
Raise machine and check to see if machine is level front-to-rear. If machine is not level when raised to transport position, adjust turnbuckle (C) as needed until machine is level front to rear when viewed from side. (See CHANGING TURNBUCKLE CONNECTION in Preparing Machine section.)
