Standard U-Bolt Tightening Sequence

1. When tightening standard U-bolts, partially tighten nut (A) to position standard square against gang tube.

2. Tighten nut (B) to specification.

Specification

Nut (B) -Torque 190 N·m (140 lb-ft)

3. Tighten nut (A) to specification.

Specification

Nut (A) -Torque 190 N·m (140 lb-ft)

4. Use following procedure to tighten scraper tube hook-bolt nuts (C).
