causym CAUTION: Gangs are heavy and sharp and can fall or roll causing serious injury or death to you or others. Use a suitable lifting device or support stands to prevent machine from falling. Block gang from rolling. Wear gloves and other safety equipment.

1. Position gang under standards. Be sure that dirt throw is correct, front gangs throw dirt outward and rear gangs throw dirt inward.

2. If distance between bearings has changed, first verify correct assembly. If correct, loosen outer standards only.

Do not loosen inner standard as this standard is used to position gang on gang frame.

Move loosened standard to align it with bearing.

NOTE: Bearing is attached to standard side towards dirt throw.

3. Attach bearing (A) to standard closest to center of machine first. Bearing is bolted to standard side towards direction of dirt throw as illustrated. Grease fitting (B) is toward rear. Three upper cap screws are inserted from bearing side (C).

4. If equipped with bearing wear guards (D), Widest part is at bottom and upper end is to front. Bottom screw (E) through wear guard is inserted from side opposite other screws.

5. If standards were loosened, tighten them as follows.
