Attaching Machine to John Deere 8000/9000/8020/9020 Series Tractors

1. Back tractor in position and attach hitch link to drawbar. Be sure hitch pin is retained with spring strap or hex nut.

2. Plug wing fold hoses (B) in SCV II coupler.

3. Plug depth control hoses (C) in SCV I coupler.

4. Touchset Depth Control -Attach 9-pin plug (D) to proper receptacle.

5. (If equipped) plug hydraulic leveling hoses (A) in SCV III coupler.

6. Bleed trapped air from system. Failure to do so can result in system malfunction. (See BLEEDING HYDRAULIC SYSTEM in Service section.)

A-Hitch Jack

  

IMPORTANT: Be sure hitch jack handle is located on top when transporting machine or damage to jack can occur.

7. Raise hitch jack (A) and pin in transport position. Position jack so jack handle is located on top.
