Bleeding Depth Control Cylinders
If an accident occurs, see a doctor immediately. Any fluid injected in skin must be surgically removed within a few hours or gangrene can result. Doctors unfamiliar with this type of injury may call Deere & Company Medical Department in Moline, Illinois, or other knowledgeable medical source. Extend and retract depth control cylinders several times, pausing at full extension for five seconds to remove all trapped air. When wing depth cylinders are at full extension, and tractor control lever is held in "raise" position, oil bypasses piston seals, bleeds system, and synchronizes all four depth cylinders. |

CAUTION:
Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate skin causing serious injury to you or others. Avoid hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines. Tighten all connections before applying pressure. Search for leaks with a piece of cardboard. Protect hands and body from high pressure fluids.
