CAUTION: Gangs are heavy and sharp and can fall or roll causing serious injury or death to you or others. When removing gangs, use suitable lifting device or support stands to prevent injury or damage. Block gang to keep it from rolling. Wear gloves and other safety equipment to avoid injury.

NOTE: Bearing standards are attached to gang frames at factory. They are positioned on frame for best machine operation.

To maintain factory-set position, do not loosen or remove standard nearest to center of machine on either main gangs or wing gangs.

2. Raise machine slightly to roll gang away from machine.

3. Block gang to prevent rolling. Support frame.

4. Use gang wrenches to loosen gang nuts. (See GANG ASSEMBLY in this section.)
