Grease

Use grease based on NLGI consistency numbers and expected air temperature range during service interval.

Following greases are preferred:

  • John Deere SD POLYUREA GREASE

Following greases are also recommended:

  • John Deere HD MOLY GREASE
  • John Deere HD LITHIUM COMPLEX GREASE
  • John Deere HD WATER RESISTANT GREASE
  • John Deere GREASE-GARD

Other greases may be used if they meet following:

  • NLGI Performance Classification GC-LB

IMPORTANT: Some types of grease thickener are not compatible with others. Consult grease supplier before mixing different types of grease.
