IMPORTANT:
Check tires are inflated to correct pressure before leveling frame. Perform following procedure on a level surface.
NOTE:
This operation should be performed in field to compensate for tire sink in ground.
Perform operation on main frame then wing frame. Level main frame first, pull machine minimum of 7.6 m (25 ft), and verify frame still level with sweeps just touching surface. Repeat for each wing frame.
1.
Place machine on flat and level surface.
2.
Unfold wings to field position, and lower machine until sweeps just touch surface.
3.
Place SCV II for wing-fold in FLOAT position.
4.
From side of machine, view each row of sweeps relative to ground.
5.
Loosen U-bolt nuts (B) until eyebolt lock (C) is moved away from wrench flat (D). Adjust fore-aft link (A) length to level frame for desired sweep position relative to ground.
-
Lengthening fore-aft link lowers rear of frame relative to front.
-
Shortening fore-aft link raises rear of frame relative to front.
