This machine can be configured for either the Single Point Depth Control or ACCUDEPTH for the depth control system. If machine uses ACCUDEPTH depth control system, it is covered in a separate manual. This manual contains standard machine operation information including Single Point Depth Control operation. ACCUDEPTH Operator's Manual contains information specific to operation of ACCUDEPTH SYSTEM. If machine is equipped with ACCUDEPTH system, READ BOTH MANUALS carefully to learn how to operate and service machine correctly. Failure to do so could result in personal injury or equipment damage.

MEASUREMENTS in this manual are given in both metric and customary U.S. unit equivalents. Use only

RIGHT-HAND AND LEFT-HAND sides are determined by facing in direction implement will travel when going forward.

WRITE PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS (P.I.N.) in Specifications section. Accurately record all numbers to help in tracing machine should it be stolen. Dealer also needs these numbers when you order parts. File identification numbers in a safe location off machine.

WARRANTY is provided as part of John Deere's support program for customers who operate and maintain their equipment as described in this manual. Warranty is explained on warranty certificate which you should have received from dealer.
