Transport Safely
When transporting machine on a road or highway at night or during day, use lights and devices for adequate warning to operators of other vehicles. In this regard, check local governmental regulations. Various safety lights and devices are available from your John Deere dealer.
Keep away from overhead power lines. Serious injury or death may result. Know transport height and width of your machine. Check local regulations before transporting.
Always fold wings fully for transport.
Raise frame and install transport/service locks before transporting.
Latch tractor brakes together.
Shift tractor into a lower gear when transporting down steep slopes or hills. Stop slowly.
Keep SMV emblem and reflectors clean and visible from rear.
Do not exceed 32 km/h (20 mph).
Add ballast to tractor as required to maintain stability.
