Checking Wheel Bolts and Bearings

Check tightness of all wheel bolts (A) and wheel pivot bearings during first week of operation and periodically after that.

Tighten all wheel bolts to specification.

Wheel Bolt -Torque

176 N·m

(130 lb-ft)

To adjust wheel bearing, remove center hub cap and cotter pin. Raise wheel and turn it. Tighten nut until there is a slight drag on bearings, back off to first hole, and insert cotter pin. Replace hub cap.
