General Guidelines For Use

Use recommended size tractor. (See Specifications section.)

Be sure tractor and machine have been properly prepared. (See Preparing Tractor and Preparing Machine sections.)

For best tillage results, work at a speed of 8-13 km/h (5-8 mph). In rocky conditions, reduce speed.

Be sure machine is on level ground before raising or lowering wings.

Never raise or lower wings while machine is in motion.

Never operate in field with wings raised.

Be sure machine is level side-to-side and front-to-rear.

Set SCV levers for proper operation of depth control and wing-fold systems. Wings should be in FLOAT position during field operation.

Raise tillage machine out of ground before making turns. Avoid making sharp turns that may cause tractor tire to make contact with implement.

Do not make sharp turns while implement is being lowered in soil.

If chemicals are used, always follow manufacturer's instructions for proper use and handling. (See HANDLE CHEMICAL PRODUCTS SAFELY in Safety section.)
