Using Transport Cylinder Locks-ACCUDEPTH Machines Only

NOTE: Single Point Depth Control machines ONLY use the transport lock-up valve for transporting.

CAUTION: To protect you or others from injury, always install transport cylinder locks before transporting or servicing machine. Transport cylinder locks keep depth control cylinders from retracting and frame from lowering.

CAUTION: This machine is equipped with rephasing cylinders and will settle down immediately in manual mode of operation which can cause serious injury to you or others. The SCV MUST be set to continuous for the operator to insert cylinder transport locks. In manual mode, transport locks are required, especially when transporting.

When preparing to transport machine, move transport cylinder locks (A) from storage to operating positions on main frame depth control cylinder rods using pin and cotter pin. Pinned installation is necessary to keep transport cylinder locks from vibrating out of operating position.

Transport cylinder locks should also be installed anytime frame needs to be held in a raised position for service or storage.

After transporting or service, return transport cylinder locks to storage positions.
