Adjusting Mud Scrapers (Attachment)
NOTE:
Scrapers are used to prevent accumulation of mud on the unit lift cylinders and unit pressure plates. The amount of clearance is determined by field conditions.
Long bracket is to rear of tube and short bracket is to front of tube.
1.
Attach support brackets (A) (without filler plates installed between the brackets) on diagonal support tube using U-bolts and flange nuts, so angle is toward
outside
for the following row spacings:

4-Row 30, 32, (single)
-
4-Row 40 (duals)
-
6-Row 30, 32, (duals)
-
6-Row 40 (duals)

Attach support brackets (B) (without filler plates installed between the brackets) on diagonal support tube using U-bolts and flange nuts, so angle is toward
inside
for the following row spacings:

4-Row 36, 38, 40 (singles)
-
4-Row 36, 38 (duals)
-
6-Row 36, 38 (duals)

Move scraper in or out in slots to adjust clearance.
