Symptom Problem Solution

Lights do not function properly.

Empty lubrication reservoir.

Fill reservoir.

Bulbs burned out.

Replace.

Improper electrical connections.

Check and repair.

Leak on suction lines.

Tighten fittings.

Remote fill connector stuck open.

Repair and/or replace.

Manually operated and pressure switches malfunction.

Replace.

Filter plugged.

Clean or replace.

Improper grease viscosity and/or cold weather.

Use recommended lubricant.

Grease pump not working.

Check cartridge valve or cartridge valve solenoid. (See your John Deere dealer.)

Faulty grease low-pressure switch.

Replace switch on manifold at front axle.

Improper lubricant distribution.

Crimped, damaged or broken hoses.

Check and/or replace.

Improper hose routing.

See your John Deere dealer.

Foreign material in grease manifolds.

Clean.

Improper grease viscosity and/or cold weather.

Use recommended lubricant.

Pump will not shut off.

Damaged or broken switches.

Replace.

Wires worn and shorted out against unit.

Repair wires.

Pressure switch defective.

Replace.

Lubrication transfer pump not operating.

Lines reversed.

Reverse lines.

Improper grease viscosity and/or cold weather.

Use recommended lubricant.

Bad connection between the pumps.

Repair or replace connections.

Internal pump or motor damage.

See your John Deere dealer.

Crimped or damaged hoses.

Repair or replace hoses.

Air lock in system between tank and transfer pump.

Open bleed screw on side of transfer pump to bleed air.
